Play Dart Games such as Baseball Darts.
Darts Baseball is one of the most fun and simplest games to play with family and friends. You can play with as many teams or players as you want. There is a version that needs to be played with a special dart board, however, we are only covering the version played using a English standard dart board.
The Object of the game: Simply stated, it is to score more runs per inning than your opponents do. When the game is over, the highest score is the winner.
The Scoring of the game:: The numbers 1 to 9 are written on the scoreboard's left hand side. The names of all the players are written across the top in batting order. To determine the batting order for Baseball is easy. Each player must throw a dart at the bullseye. The player with the closest dart to the bull goes first, while the furthest dart goes last. Other methods for determining batting order can also be used. For easier reading, you can draw a grid around the names and numbers.
In the below image you can see the 9 scoring point within the purple rings for this game. Those will be your 9 innings in which you are going to play. Now if we take 1 you will see there is an A, B and C. A is the double line and counts as 2 runs. B is the single run section and C is the triple which counts as 3 runs.
The Play: Every player throws in order three darts at the current inning's number. For the first inning the target is 1, for the second inning it is 2, etc. A particular number counts only in its inning. As an example, if during the first inning a 4 gets hit, it doesn't count. The double outer ring is two runs, while the triple inner ring is three runs. The other sections count as one run. So nine is the highest possible score for an inning.
You do not multiply the runs scored by the inning. As an example, if two single 3's and one double 3 is scored, the score for that player for the inning would be four.
Normally the running total gets kept, and the score of the current inning is added to the total. Players in this way are able to see how behind or ahead they are. This saves lots of time if you don't need to sit and work out all nine innings for each player when the game ends.
If the ninth inning ends with the game tied, extra innings get played. The target is the bullseye. Players continue with extra innings until all players have had their throws for an inning and there is no tie.
There is an interesting twist that is fun to play called "7th inning stretch." With this variation, any player who fails to score any runs during the seventh inning gets their score cut by half. The seventh inning has more pressure on it. It also provides players who are far behind the opportunity to catch up to other players.
Strategy: Attempt to score as many runs as possible.
Please have a look on the site for other great games to play with family and friends and always remember, even thou we say Games, Darts are still dangerous and children should never play with them alone.
